With The Flow

Life seems to be going so fast, speeding by and all I can do is hold tight and go with the flow. When life seems frantic I try to embrace chaos and enjoy the few quiet moments. Spending time in my garden on a warm day, enjoying a good movie, or going for a run, these things make it easier to endure the storm.

Here i am enjoying a mild day in this maxi dress that I impulsively took a pair of scissors to and transformed into a high slit skirt. I can’t wait to wear it a lot this spring!

I had a dream that I was flying

This is where I live.

The west coast is really a magical place to live. Even though I am in Canada, we barely get any snow, and although it is cold, I can still manage to walk on the beach with bare feet. In December!

I spent my day running around trying to get Christmas shopping done, working, and raced home in vain to get some photos during the golden hour. Can’t wait for longer days!

Let me be your everlasting light

Catching the last rays of summer with my soul mate/best friend/model extraordinaire/sister. Sometimes we couldn’t be more different, other times I swear we share a brain. Doesn’t the sun just love her face? She is wearing my favorite Thread Sense dress which isn’t for sale anymore but here is a similar one. There are so many cute dresses at that store, I think my credit card is about to be exercised! oops

In other news, I can’t stop watching old episodes of 30 Rock, painting my nails turquoise and drinking soy chai on the rocks.

Happy Friday!!! I wish I could say I’m not going to work on the weekend, alas, the life of a freelancer doesn’t exactly run on a schedule.

Life in Motion

From a shoot I did yesterday with the eternally gorgeous Erica, who frolicked around for me in exchange for cupcakes!

Yesterday was National Talk Like A Pirate Day. I celebrated with a yo ho ho and a bottle of rum!
