Working Girl

As a recent transplant from freelance to a corporate job, creating a more professional yet personalized wardrobe is a lesson I’m still learning. My goal was to shop in my own closet for special items, then update with more versatile, polished pieces. This skirt, found in the back of my closet, has metallic thread woven in which makes it stand out without being flashy. I pair it with solid chiffon or silk tops in classic styles that balance the outfit and work perfectly for a day at the office. Finding interesting pieces and mixing them with classics is a great way to stand out for the right reasons!

My skirt is from RW & CO (many seasons ago), blouse from BCBG, bracelet: vintage

 Cheers!

Lovely, especially the easy up-do hair. Not to tight with just a little bit of fuss! That skirt will easily transition into Fall..
